The brand began as a concept in 2008, and launched in North America in Spring of 2010 and Asia later the same year. The mission of Bonamour is to become a global lifestyle brand that educates people how to live their best life now, while being able to support those that do now otherwise have the means to carry out their dreams. The brand was started on the simple mission of providing meaningful, yet practical, was people could take immediate control in clearly defining and reaching their life long dreams.

Nathan Halsey, Founder

Nathan began his career as a strategy consultant for one of the Big 5 professional services firms before following his true professional passion - entrepreneurship.

In 2003 Nathan formed a boutique investment advisory firm that was the lead principal and management arm of three successful company launches between 2003 and 2008.

As the success of Nathan's career began to escalate, so did the challenges and strains that created for his commitments to his family. Now a committed husband and father of three, Nathan first discussed with his wife, Kristin, in late 2008 the need for career minded professionals and entrepreneurs to be reminded of the importance family and health play in living a complete and fulfilled life.

Being an entrepreneur at heart, Nathan took a step back to evaluate the macro-economic trends that were forming in late 2008.

Corporate America continued to downsize and move jobs offshore - diminishing the prior belief that being committed to employers would provide for financial security.

Flaws were being exposed in the Social Security program that illustrated the fact that Generation X & Y could not be dependent on government for retirement benefits.

Rising healthcare costs are beginning to expose another catastrophic real life risk - loss of life prematurely due to poor healthcare education and the ability to afford medical treatment of chronic diseases and illnesses.

Rising divorce rates due to the global economic recession that exposed many committed relationships lost to credit driven consumption of material possessions.

Advances in education and awareness that wellness and prevention, not medicine, is the source of vitality and wellbeing.

Social Media platforms were leading to an explosion in global Social Networking, allowing instant access to like-minded individuals not only across the nation, but across the world as well.

After evaluating and researching these trends, the realization and observation turned into a passion for creating a global organization committed to providing real solutions for real people who want to live the richest life possible as well.

Nathan spent the next year putting together the absolute finest collaborative team of researchers, nutritionists, marketing professionals, and advisors to create what became Bonamour International.

Kristin Halsey, Founder

Like Nathan, Kristin became passionate about wellness and healthy living in all aspects of life, after becoming a wife and mother and discovering it takes strong physical health and mental wellbeing to be able to provide adequately to the needs of the family.

Kristin began her career as an elementary school teacher before discovering her true passion in life - philanthropy.

Beginning with her love for children at a very young age, Kristin has taken every opportunity to become involved in philanthropic causes that provide meaningful support and wellbeing disadvantaged children.

Now a mother of three, Kristin shares her time between being a homemaker and caretaker of three young children, providing marketing and branding support to Nathan and the Bonamour team, and now leads with passion the philanthropic side of Bonamour.

Kristin also manages the families numerous charitable, social, and civic causes from their home office in Dallas.
