William H. Lupini, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
William H. Lupini assumed the position of Superintendent of Schools in Brookline in July, 2004. Prior to coming to Brookline, Dr. Lupini served as Superintendent for seven years in Beverly, Massachusetts, a school district of 4,700 students, and for two years in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, a district of 1,900 students.
Dr. Lupini has also served as Director of Curriculum and Instruction (1993-1995) and Assistant High School Principal (1991-1993) in Kutztown, as well as acting as a Program Specialist with the New Jersey Department of Education for two years. He taught Marketing Education for eight years at Maple Shade High School in New Jersey and Bucks County Technical School in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Lupini holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lehigh University, a Master of Education degree in Leadership, Administration and Supervision from Rider University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Business Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Jennifer Fischer-Mueller, Ed.D.
Deputy Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.
Dr. Fischer-Mueller rejoins the school system after spending one year with the Interactive Institute for Social Change in Cambridge.

Anne S. Wilson, Ph.D.
Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources.
Anne Wilson joined The Public Schools of Brookline in July, 2008. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Leadership at Boston College, where she has been a full-time student, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, since September, 2004. In addition, Anne served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Educational Change while at Boston College.
Dr. Wilson previously served as Principal of Diablo Vista Middle School with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District in Danville, California for five (5) years. She also has experience as a Middle School Assistant Principal and Mathematics teacher at the middle and high school levels.
Anne earned her Master of Science Degree in Education and Curriculum at California State University in Hayward, California, and her Bachelor of Science Degree at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania.

Peter C. Rowe.
Deputy Superintendent for Administration and Finance.
Peter C. Rowe joined the Public Schools of Brookline in 1993, with extensive experience from the Boston Public Schools, where he served as a middle and high school science teacher (1974-1979); Manager of External Grants (1982-1984); Assistant Business Manager, Expenditure Control (1984-1988), and Deputy Superintendent, Management Services (1988-1993). He also has experience as an adjunct Assistant Professor at Simmons College and instructor at U Mass/Boston and Fitchburg State College.
Mr. Rowe holds an MBA from Boston University's Graduate School of Management, an M.S. from the School of Education at Simmons College and a M.Ed. from Boston University's Graduate School of Education.

Denise Rochlin, Ed.D.
Assistant Superintendent for Student Services.
Dr. Rochlin comes to Brookline after having served as the Director of Special Education in both Medway and Lexington.
